Closed Surface Energy Principle: A Unified Morphological Theory of Matter and Space
This paper develops the Closed Surface Energy Principle, a unifying theory of matter, energy, and space based on the concept of enclosing closed surfaces. Inspired by and extending the Hawking-Bekenstein entropy-area law, the theory proposes that all stable matter is defined by dynamic surface enclosures. The total energy of a system corresponds to the total surface area of internal closed forms. This concept applies from atomic and molecular scales to crystalline solids, fluid phases, stars, and the universe itself. When closure fails—due to geometric or energetic instability—the contained energy is released as motion, radiation, or space formation. A newly added visual model explains the difference between gaseous and liquid phases via surface arrangement. This work reframes Hawking’s geometric vision of black hole thermodynamics as a general law of structure and existence. Author: Tetsuo Konno(今野哲夫)
