SEMANTIC ISOMORPHISM IN COMPARATIVE LINGUISTICS AND ITS STUDY
This article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of semantic isomorphism in comparative linguistics, its fundamental principles, and research methodologies. Semantic isomorphism helps identify similarities and differences between the semantic structures of various languages. The article explores the theoretical foundations of isomorphism, its significance in linguistic research, and its application in linguistic studies. The works of researchers such as E.Kurilovich, V.A.Beloshapkova, and I.F.Belyayeva are examined, highlighting the role of syntactic and semantic isomorphism in linguistic processes. Furthermore, the practical importance of semantic isomorphism in translation, language teaching, and cross-linguistic communication is discussed.
