Closed-Surface Model of the Helium Atom: Quantitative Analysis
This study presents a quantitative and conceptual analysis of the helium atom using a closed-surface dynamics model. Both electrons and nucleons are treated as rotating surface structures that interact through angular resonance and field interference. It is shown that the angular velocities of the electron surface and the helium nucleus are of the same order, leading to near-complete electric field cancellation and atomic stability. The residual field asymmetry is proposed to account for helium’s small but nonzero electron affinity. This framework offers a novel geometric interpretation of electric charge and atomic configuration based on surface dynamics. Author: Tetsuo Konno(今野哲夫) https://orcid.org/0009-0002-1842-7865
