Legal Protection for Investors in the Establishment of Hotel Tourism Accommodation in Karangasem Regency

The form of legal protection for investors is by providing convenience in this case, for example, the provision of facilities and local governments to investors to facilitate every investment activity in order to encourage increased investment in the region. Based on the background of the problem that has been described above. Then several problems can be formulated as follows 1) How is the regulation of legal protection for investors in the establishment of tourism accommodation Hotels in Karangasem Regency? 2) What are the obstacles faced by investors in the construction of tourism accommodation Hotels in Karangasem Regency? This research is normative legal research, the research approach used in this study is the legislative approach, sociological approach, comparative law approach, and case approach. In terms of data arranged systematically, then analyzed qualitatively so that it is expected to get a clear picture of the problems faced. After qualitative analysis is carried out, the data will be presented descriptively qualitatively and systematically. The regulation of legal protection for investors in establishing hotels in Karangasem Regency, is regulated in matters related to licensing by the government has been regulated in Article 2 of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of RiskBased Business Licensing. The obstacles faced by investors in building hotels in Karangasem Regency, namely regulatory obstacles, the first obstacle is regarding licensing regulations, tax obstacles, land dispute obstacles, human resource qualification obstacles, infrastructure obstacles.
