PATHWAYS TO EQUITY: PROMOTING INCLUSION ACROSS BASIC EDUCATION

This research investigates equity and inclusion in basic education, highlighting the need for a fair and accessible educational environment for all. In view of the growing demands for more inclusive education, the study examines the challenges to promote educational equity and the effective strategies to overcome them. Using the Giftian neoperspectivist paradigm, which values multiple perspectives, and the hypothetical-deductive method, with a Narrative Literature and Documentary Review, the research reveals the complexity of the challenges and the importance of community involvement. The contributions include theoretical and practical insights for educators and policy makers, but highlight the need for more studies on the impact of inclusion strategies.
