Optimizing Task Allocation in the LHC Computing Grid for the High-Luminosity LHC Using a Heuristic Approach.
This publication presents a mathematical model and hybrid heuristic algorithm (greedy + simulated annealing) to optimize task allocation in the LHC Computing Grid for the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), achieving 36% energy savings and 3.6% time reduction. It includes the paper (main.pdf), LaTeX source (main.tex), a visualization chart (optimization_chart.png), and the Python script (generate_chart.py) used to create the chart. The project is available at https://github.com/DonMask/LHC-Computing-Grid.
