A Spectroscopic Analysis for Simultaneous Determination of Metal Sulfates Using by Infrared and Ultraviolet-visible Spectrometry
Metal sulfates are critical materials in various technological applications. Nearly all metals form a sulfate layer under ambient conditions, and understanding the surface properties of these sulfates remains a growing area of interest in surface science. One of the key challenges is that these materials cannot be easily studied using standard techniques. In this review, we summarize recent findings obtained through infrared (IR) spectroscopy applied in reflection geometry to macroscopic sulfate monocrystals.
