CAROTID ARTERY OCCLUSIVE LESIONS AS STROKE PRECURSORS AND THEIR SECONDARY PREVENTION
Atherosclerotic lesions of the arteries are among the most significant risk factors contributing to the development of stroke. Secondary prevention of stroke aims to avert the progression and recurrence of more severe cerebrovascular events.
