SOME REMARKS ON CONIC SECTION
Abstract. In this paper, Conic sections, including circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas, are fundamental geometric curves derived from the intersection of a plane and a cone. Thisstudy explores their mathematical properties, equations, and classifications while emphasizingtheir significance in real-world applications. Conic sections play a crucial role in various fieldssuch as physics, engineering, astronomy, and architecture. For instance, planetary orbits followelliptical paths, parabolic reflectors enhance signal transmission, and hyperbolic structures areused in bridge design. By understanding these curves, we gain insights into their practical utilityin science and technology, demonstrating their relevance beyond theoretical mathematics.
