THE IMPACT OF VISUAL SUPPORTS ON LISTENING COMPREHENSION IN A1 LEVEL LEARNERS
This exploratory action research investigates the role of visual supports—such as images, gestures, and video—in enhancing listening comprehension among A1 level English learners. A1 learners often struggle with understanding spoken English due to limited vocabulary and listening skills. This study aims to examine how integrating visual aids can support learners’ comprehension and engagement in listening tasks. Through classroom observation, learner feedback, and a comparison of listening performance with and without visual aids, the research offers insights into effective strategies for low-proficiency learners.
