REVITALIZING HERITAGE THROUGH DESIGN AND CULTURE: A CASE STUDY OF THE BOISBUCHET RESIDENCY AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR ARMENIA
This article explores the Boisbuchet Residency in France as a case study in the successful integration of cultural heritage preservation, artistic innovation, and rural development. Based on field research conducted in October 2024, the study draws connections between Boisbuchet’s model and potential applications for similar projects in Armenia, particularly within its rural landscapes and historical architectural sites. The research is supported by Culture Moves Europe, the Goethe-Institut, and the Institute of Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
