Luehea maroniensis Benoist (1921: 114). Lectotype (designated here):— FRENCH GUYANA. Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni: Godebert, February 1920, Wachenheim 116 (P! [P02142919]; isolectotypes F! [V0332624F]; K! [K000381810]; P! [P02142918], [P02142920]). [= Lueheopsis rugosa (Pulle) Burret (1926: 840)] When describing Luehea maroniensis, Benoist (1921) cited the specimen Wachenheim 116 in the protologue. We found five specimens associated with the name in the herbaria F, K and P. Therefore, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, we designated here, among the syntypes, the specimen P [P 02142919] as the lectotype of L. maroniensis.
