Voice-Enabled Web Navigation and Appointment Booking Using Speech Recognition

Abstract — Due to its use in accessibility, human-computer interaction, and automation, speech-to-text (STT) generation has become prominent. This article evaluates ten studies on the STT era, addressing enhancements in speech recognition, accuracy improvements, and entirely web-based applications. in addition, it provides a web navigation STT implementation with JavaScript and the web Speech API, enabling users to browse a internet site and make appointments using voice commands. The evaluation of the implementation's effectiveness identifies areas for future improvement.
