Objective: To compare initiation, adherence and satisfaction in physical exercise programs between 2012 and 2023 at the biotipo gym. Methods: The studied population was made up of subjects enrolled at Academia Biotipo, 135 women and 90 men, comparing data from 2012 with 2023. The validated questionnaire by Morales (2002) was applied, with open and closed questions. Results & Discussion: When analyzing the means of transport, it was possible to see a difference, where 36% went on foot in 2012 and 55% went by car/motorcycle in 2023. In 2012 the highest rate of responses was about body aesthetics (40%) and in 2023, in the majority of practitioners, the index was in well-being and tranquility (46%). In 2012, the two highest incidences were in the search for an ideal body (27%) and the improvement in health observed (25%), already questioned in 2023, the majority responded that it would be for the pleasure of exercising and the goals achieved (28%, respectively). Conclusion: When comparing initiation, adherence and satisfaction in physical exercise programs, we see that there were differences in results between 2012 and 2023 in the biotype gym.
