COMPATIBILITY OF SOCIOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL METHODS IN THE STUDY OF SOCIAL PERCEPTIONS
This article scientifically analyzes the combination of sociological and psychological methods in the study of social representations. Social representation represents a person's views on society, values, and forms of perception of social reality. In studying this concept, sociological methods (questionnaire, interview, content analysis, statistical analysis) allow us to identify general trends in society, while psychological methods (experiment, test, associative analysis, projective methods) help to deeply study the individual perception and cognitive processes of a person.
