Growth rates of female Australian red-claw crayfish Cherax quadricarinatus Von Martens, 1868 in RAS during the period of adaptation to industrial conditions

Red-claw crayfish Cherax quadricarinatus Von Martens, 1868 ranks second in world aquaculture in terms of its cultivation volumes. In the Russian Federation, economic entities are currently showing interest in this object, but further scaling of business projects is impossible without careful elaboration of all elements of its cultivation biotechnology. The experiment on the adaptation of female red-claw crayfish to pool conditions (RAS) after the pond cultivation stage was conducted in the present work. Within 42 days of adaptation, the survival rate of crayfish was 85 %, the increase in individual weight was 8.03 g (19.04 %).
