A Study on Employee Satisfaction and Retention Strategies in Sri Devi Spinning Mill, Perundural
This study explores the complex interrelationships among employee satisfaction, intention to stay, perceived organizational support, and key workplace factors within a sample of employees. Correlation andregression analyses reveal that satisfaction with job responsibilities and supervisor support do notsignificantly predict intention to stay or feelings of being valued by the organization. In contrast, work-lifebalance is positively associated with a sense of personal accomplishment but negatively related toperceptions of transparency and openness in communication. While encouragement of innovation is stronglylinked to cross-departmental collaboration, these factors, along with recognition from management, do notsignificantly explain employee loyalty, as indicated by a low R² value in regression analysis. K-meanscluster analyses further uncover diverse employee experiences and perceptions, including contrasting viewson job satisfaction, organizational loyalty, and workplace environment. These findings suggest thattraditional drivers such as job satisfaction and supervisor support may be insufficient in explaining employeeretention and loyalty, pointing to the need for broader organizational strategies that account for complex andvaried employee experiences.
