Final_script_ill_defined_cause_death_farm_workers_brazil_2015_2023

This repository contains the code used for the analysis presented in the article "Distribution of Death Records by Original and Final Ill-Defined Cause among Agricultural Workers in Brazil, 2015 to 2023." The study is based on microdata from the Brazilian Mortality Information System (SIM/DATASUS) and investigates the occurrence and reclassification of deaths originally attributed to ill-defined causes among agricultural workers. The code includes data cleaning procedures, descriptive analyses, and logistic regression models to estimate crude and adjusted odds ratios. All scripts are written in R and structured to ensure reproducibility of the results.
