BADIIY KULOLCHILIK: AN'ANAVIYLIK VA ZAMONAVIYLIK
In Uzbekistan, non-traditional pottery began to take shape starting from the 1970s. It was during these years that significant stylistic and plastic transformations occurred in sculpting and decorative ceramics. The process of harmonizing sculpture and ceramics had already begun. Despite the similarities in artistic solutions and methods in sculpture and ceramics, and the "disappearance of genre boundaries", non-traditional pottery developed independently from traditional pottery. According to art historians, the evolution of non-traditional art and crafts in our country, and its distinctive rise, occurred after the independence.
