Simple: Android Based Application for Thesis Defense Assessment

The final thesis defense or proposal defense for electrical engineering students at Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University (te-uin suska) is conducted in a small number of rooms managed by the faculty of science and technology. The scheduling and use of the room for the thesis defense in the electrical engineering study program(te-uin suska) have been arranged regularly, however, the manual calculation carried out shortly after completion of the defense turns out to require quite a long time and often makes the use of the room longer and as a result the schedule for the following students is delayed. This study designed and built application that run on the Android operating system to facilitate the calculation process. The applications developed in this study have been able to perform the fundamental tasks required to expedite the computation process, according to the findings of direct testing conducted using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) approach.
