Entropy-Driven Fifth Force: A Thermodynamic Information Field Model with Experimental Prospects (Subtitle: A Model for a Fifth Force Arising from Entropy Gradients)
This is the revised and extended version of the March 11, 2025 paper entitled “Entropy-Induced Collapse (EIC) Model Series: Information Field and a Fifth Force Hypothesis.” In this updated version, we significantly expand the theoretical framework, enhance connections to the Standard Model, and add detailed experimental strategies. The paper is part of the Entropy-Induced Collapse (EIC) Model Series (2025) and contributes to the unification of gravity, quantum measurement, and thermodynamic entropy via a fifth force mediated by an information field \Phi(x,t). Major Improvements from the March 11, 2025 version include: • Standard Model Integration: New Lagrangian terms explicitly couple \Phi(x,t) to fermions, gauge fields, and the Higgs sector. • Modified Einstein Equations: We now propose a modified form of Einstein’s field equations that includes an energy-momentum tensor T_{\mu\nu}^{(\Phi)}, suggesting a deeper link between gravity and entropy. • Loop Corrections: Preliminary Feynman diagram estimates are provided to explain the muon g-2 anomaly using \Phi(x,t) interactions. • Enhanced Experimental Proposals: Predictions for MEMS, Casimir, and CMB measurements are refined, including expected force magnitudes. • Expanded Appendix: Mathematical derivations, simulation details, and GitHub link for reproducibility are newly included. • Ethical Commitment Statement: An explicit section is added to emphasize peaceful and ethical applications of the theory. This update is intended to be a cornerstone for future work in Information Field Theory, and we encourage readers to engage with the full EIC Model Series to appreciate its unified vision.
