A Study on Emerging Trends in Organizational Behavior
Abstract In order to improve communication and collaboration within businesses and among their workforce's, organizations need to understand the factors that influence employee motivation, performance improvement, and the development of strong, trustworthy relationships with their staff. Organizational behavior is the study of how people behave in organizational contexts; it is frequently referred to as "organizational behavior." Organizational behavior focuses on three key determinants: individuals, groups, and structure. In a context typified by rapid change and fierce competition, practitioners of Organizational Behavior (OB) must stay aware of the most recent trends and innovations to support positive transformation and fulfill strategic objectives. The present essay explores a number of new developments and trends in OB that could be beneficial to businesses. First of all, DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) is acknowledged as a significant trend in which a company respects, honors, and capitalizes on the unique characteristics of its stakeholders and members to guarantee that everyone has equal access to resources and opportunities. Second, the open system, which includes elements like environmental sensitivity, stakeholder engagement, and adaptability, and the trend of human orientation, which emphasizes work-life balance, employee development, and cultivating an inclusive culture, are noteworthy trends that extend to the field of organizational behavior. These trends are universally relevant and include sustainability and eco-friendly organizational practices, power distribution, intrinsic motivation, and a balanced focus. This paper is devoted to reviewing the existing literature and providing a thorough overview of the current state of OB. The results show that a wide range of viewpoints and experiences are reflected in the emergence of digital transformation, open systems, sustainability, green organizational practices, intrinsic motivation, etc. This study has enabled me to investigate the organizational behavior trends that are represented in the pertinent literature.
