Geo-political Analysis of Unfencing International Border through MADM Strategy: A Case Study of N.C. Nagar area, Tripura
This study evaluates the geopolitical implications of international border fences between India and Bangladesh, focusing specifically on the N.C. Nagar area in Tripura. As of December 23, 2015, the Indian government had authorized the construction of 3,326.14 kilometers of barbed wire fencing along the border, with 2,708.77 kilometers completed. N.C. Nagar is one of the unfenced regions, which raises critical questions about the effectiveness of border fences in controlling illegal cross-border activities and their influence on bilateral relations
