Versioned Darwin Core Archive Shared by American Museum of Natural History Hymenoptera Collection, Including a Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names hash://md5/98b6c19a838337f0574ecb38a43904a2
Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/AMNH-hymenoptera, has fingerprint hash://md5/98b6c19a838337f0574ecb38a43904a2, is 10.1MiB in size and contains 9,106 interaction with 4 unique types of associations (e.g., visits) between 428 primary taxa (e.g., Protoxaea gloriosa Fox, 1893) and 474 associated taxa (e.g., Euphorbia L.). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
