This article investigates the impact of market volatility on supply chains and highlights the relevance of developing approaches to cost management and risk minimization. It examines the theoretical foundations of cost management, including the use of predictive analytics, digitalization, the implementation of sustainability principles, and production regionalization. Methods for cost optimization, such as inventory management, supplier diversification, and the adoption of innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), are analyzed.
