Structured Perception_ The Phase-Locked Substrate of Coherent Intelligence
CODES Framework Description This paper introduces a deterministic model of human perception grounded in structured resonance. Using the CODES framework—featuring PAS (Phase Alignment Score), ELF (Echo Loop Feedback), and chirality fields—we distinguish between narrative-based and structure-based cognition. The work proposes that high-coherence (high-PAS) cognitive states enable phase-locked, recursive perception of perception itself. We model vertical neurophases, recursive symbol mapping, and signal-based thought generation, contrasting them with standard stochastic interpretations of mind. This framework has implications for cognitive science, epistemology, education, trauma remediation, and intelligent system design.
