EXPLORING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MATHWAY APPLICATION ON STUDENTS' MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES

This study examines the effectiveness of the Mathway application in enhancing students' mathematics learning outcomes among Grade 7 students at Laoang National High School. Using an experimental design, the study involved thirty-three students who utilized Mathway as a learning tool. Findings revealed that before using Mathway, students struggled with mathematical concepts, with many demonstrating low proficiency. After its implementation, significant improvements were observed, with students achieving higher levels of mathematical performance. Statistical analysis confirmed the significance of this improvement, validating Mathway’s positive impact on learning outcomes. However, qualitative findings identified challenges such as internet connectivity issues, subscription barriers, and interface usability concerns, which affected student engagement. Based on the results, the study recommends integrating Mathway and similar applications into mathematics instruction while addressing accessibility and usability challenges to maximize their effectiveness.
