Utilisation of Internet-based services to expand the boundaries of academic libraries

Abstract: After the COVID-19 pandemic situation, every sector faced various problems due to restricted public contact for a long time. Almost all sectors moved with their services in online mode. Educational sectors also adopted online education with the use of various tools of information and communication technology. Academic college libraries also shifted their library services to a virtual mood with the use of technological tools to bridge the gap between libraries and users. Some libraries already have digital setups; other libraries also created setups for online services. In that situation, library professionals shifted traditional library services to virtual, i.e., online library orientation, organizing webinars, online book- exhibitions, providing database service, etc. These services expand the excel of library services. Therefore, this paper covered which types of library services are used provide information services to user virtually.
