ECONOMIC IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF IPM PRACTICES AGAINST APPLE PESTS UNDER CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change is significantly altering pest dynamics in Uzbekistan's apple orchards, increasing the economic pressure on fruit growers. This study assesses the economic impact of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices in response to these changing conditions. Using a mixed-methods approach—including cost-benefit analysis, field interviews, and pest monitoring data—the findings reveal that IPM reduces pesticide costs, protects yield, and supports sustainable agriculture. Results confirm that IPM is a climate-resilient strategy for apple production.
