Tetanus Toxoid (TT) Vaccine Awareness and Coverage: A Cross-Sectional Survey Analysis
A critical component of public health measures aimed at controlling tetanus, an illness caused by the Clostridium tetani bacteria that can be deadly, is the use of the Tetanus Toxoid (TT) vaccination (World Health Organization, 2023). This study aims to assess awareness, immunization status, and perceptions of the TT vaccine among 208 respondents. The findings reveal gaps in the respondents' understanding concerning the vaccination timetable, reasons for noncompliance, and methods of boosting vaccine acceptance through accessibility and educational programs. Aim: To conduct a systematic review to analyze the level of awareness, barriers, and vaccination status of the Tetanus Toxoid vaccine in a heterogeneous community sample.
