GSM IOT BASED SMART HELMET FOR INDUSTRIES

ABSTRACT:-In India, the use of helmets is mandatory at construcon sites as per the government rules. The Use of a helmet protects the labour head against the impact of the falling object fromany height. There was a modificaon in the ordinary helmet into a smart helmet by addingthe Work Mode (ON/OFF) system, GPS System, Smoke Sensor, Task Compleon Bu?on. Inthis, the helmets will automacally be updang the work mode ON, if someone wears itbecause a clamp turns the system ON and informaon goes to the supervisor. Same as this, there are two more bu?ons which indicate the task compleon and about the ZZemergency. Using all these bu?ons and GPS Systems helps the labour in many ways andmanage the tasks and me also. For this, GPS and an IOT System are being used for thefunconing of a helmet. Real-me signals will be sending constantly with the help ofinstalled various sensors to monitor. The main objecve of this study is to acvate theinstalled components so that the various emergencies can be detected at the supervisor’sroom or to find the locaon of the worker, to keep an eye on the various field tasks. It willgive the actual locaon of the worker and in case of emergency; the labour can send his/herexact locaon to the command office of the construcon site. For this, HC12 technology ischosen to give the informaon by sending pinpoint locaon, HC12 module which has a GPSmodule. These components are installed in the ordinary helmet and connect all these with asingle computer so that all the acvies are to be supervised in a single computer. Byinstalling all the components in one construcon helmet, the internet of things based smarthelmet is assembled.
