Kelp vs phytoplankton

These are the codes for a potential journal paper. Please download all the files in this workspace to run the model. File "27 change the parameter_log_x.py" is the main file to run the model. From there, we can get Figures 2 and 3. The "sf_coast.py" file is used to save the figures. Then run "29 change the water speed_smaller.py". There, we decrease the water speed, allowing us to obtain Figure 4. As for "30 find a u.py", we used these codes to find the minimum water speed that kelp can have their competition advantages.” All Python files with a name including "sensitivity" are for the sensitivity test. Please run these files first to calculate the total nutrient, phytoplankton biomass, and kelp biomass. All of the values from the sensitivity test used to make Figure 6 are summarized in "sensitivity test_2.csv". Then, use the file "42 figure_6.py" to make Figure 6.
