The findings indicate that e-procurement significantly contributes to organizational performance by optimizing procurement operations and reducing procurement cycle times. The study highlights that despite the potential benefits, the adoption of e-procurement in Mogadishu faces challenges such as inadequate technological infrastructure, resistance to change among staff, and a lack of training and awareness about e-procurement practices. The dissertation offers several recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of e-procurement in Mogadishu. These include the development of comprehensive training programs, the establishment of clear policies and procedures for e-procurement, and the need for strategic planning to overcome technological and organizational barriers. By providing a detailed analysis of the impact of e-procurement on organizational performance, this research contributes valuable insights into the adoption of modern procurement technologies in developing countries. It serves as a resource for policymakers, business leaders, and academics interested in enhancing procurement practices through technology.
