Type locality: Pak Lap Tsai, Sai Kung, Hong Kong. Distribution: So far from type locality only. Habitat: Shallow subtidal: in domiciles on Coelastrea aspera (Verrill, 1866) and Favites pentagona (Esper, 1790) of the Merulinidae.
