Low air pressure reduces gas exchange and alters plant physiology and metabolic responses in a controlled environment.
This dataset includes physiological and biochemical measurements collected from Arabidopsis thaliana plants grown under controlled environmental conditions at two different atmospheric pressures (101 and 62 kPa). The experiment aimed to compare plant responses to these pressure conditions. The files contain: Chlorophyll fluorescence parameters.xlsx (photosynthetic activity data), Gas exchange data.xlsx (stomatal conductance, assimilation, and transpiration rates), growth_measurements_arabidopsis.xlsx (growth parameters), leaves pigments.xlsx (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and carotenoid content), Metabolites identification.xlsx (metabolite profiling of shoot biomass), and Nitrogen content and d13C.xlsx (leaf nitrogen content and carbon isotope discrimination). The file Ecotron_CO2_1_min_values.xlsx reports CO₂ concentrations in [ppm] inside the growth chambers throughout the experiment.
