Interactive Exploration of Multi-Omics Metadata Standards Integration (MOMSI) WG Platform Deliverables Aiding Diverse Technical Domain Data Developments

During the RDA VP24 Breakout Session 2 meeting we presented our first set of finalized machine-actionable deliverables and the lineage of these outputs stemming from recent community-driven MOMSI WG activities. This session will included interactive discussions and demos of our new Multi-omics data standards landscape review dashboard repository (Deliverable 1a) supported under the RDA TIGER program support services. We also introduced our MOMSI WG GitHub repository sustainability plan curation workflow connecting to our FAIRsharing Standards Collection (Deliverable 1b) in collaboration with the RDA FAIRsharing WG. This is a great opportunity for community members (new and existing) to provide feedback on recent outputs as we prepare for community review feedback to be included in our upcoming recommendation materials and linked publications. During this session we introduced scope for our last set of MOMSI WG activity deliverables (multi-omics collection gap analysis + recommendation manuscript) and outlined aims for use-case engagements. Outcomes from this session serve to promote ongoing RDA collaborations in building new community partnerships for adoption of MOMSI WG open resources and recommendations, aimed to empower Multi-omics standard harmonization and continuous educational awareness. NOTE: In this presentation we hightlight documentation covering novel capabilities and curation workflows implemented in our new Multi-Omics Standards Landscape Review GitHub repository and interactive web-based dashboard tool. The dashboard presented here (linked GitHub repository and live feedback form) are set to be updated and fully released by end of April 2025 for community review and feedback.
