The relationship between load and rest in the sport of WTF taekwondo
In Taekwondo WTF (World Taekwondo Federation) sport, the ratio of work and rest plays an important role in optimizing the performance of athletes and strengthening their health. Taekwondo is a high-intensity sport that requires athletes to combine skills such as strength, speed, agility and endurance. Maintaining the right balance of workload and rest improves an athlete's physical performance and prevents injuries. In the WTF sport of Taekwondo, training is primarily defined by short bursts of high intensity that cause intense stress on the muscles and nervous system. Therefore, proper planning of rest and recovery processes helps to restore muscles, reduce fatigue, maintain the athlete's motivation and increase his competitiveness. Without adequate rest, the athlete may experience severe fatigue and injuries, which will negatively affect overall performance.
