Образ бабусі в текстах Л. Костенко та С. Осоки
This study aims to analyze several texts that show a positive image of a grandmother and reveal her role in relationships with grandchildren and the formation of their world. In Lina Kostenko's poetry, the village and related locations are presented as a timeless unity of an ideal national space where a person can return to himself, to traditions, to his true essence, to human values, etc. The grandmother is an important part of this world. Accordingly, the image is interpreted in a philosophical and cultural sense. In L. Kostenko's poetry, the grandmother acts as a demiurge and keeper of the world. Ukrainian prose writer Serhiy Osoka continues the tradition of depicting rural space as an ideal topos. Although this writer already belongs to the cohort of modern authors, his work is not characterized by the aggravation of family conflicts as a worldview crisis, the poeticization of the city. Contrasting the generations of parents and children, S. Osoka simultaneously depicts the unity of generations through generations: grandparents communicate well with their grandchildren, find a common language, and live in harmony; all their conflicts are infrequent and every day. At the same time, the author depicts the decline of the old village and the change in the generation of peasants.
