APHORISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE METHODOLOGY AMI GR 0017-2021 UE "MINGAZ" INSPECTION OF UNDERGROUND STEEL GAS PIPELINES
In modern conditions, the reliability of gas supply is one of the key tasks of the energy industry. Underground gas pipelines play a critical role in gas transportation, and their durability directly affects the economic and environmental security of the region. One of the significant factors affecting the service life of underground steel gas pipelines is corrosion. Corrosion protection allows you to extend the operational life of pipelines, but this requires regular inspections and assessment of their condition. This article discusses the method of using the transient resistance of an insulating coating as a way to determine the remaining service life of steel gas pipelines.
