AbstractPurpose of the study: This study investigated the impact of peer influence on the entrepreneurial intention of Library and Information Science undergraduates in South-West, Nigeria.Methodology: The research design adopted for the study was a descriptive survey design. A two-stage random sampling technique was used to draw the sample size. Data was collected from four hundred two (402) undergraduate students at three library and information science schools in South-West Nigeria through a questionnaire. Data analysis was done in an SPSS output format based on simple mean, standard deviation, frequency count and percentages to answer the research question.Findings: The findings of the study revealed that the level of entrepreneurial intention is high (x ̅ = 50.51; std. dev. = 6.297); undergraduates were positively influenced by their peers to engage in entrepreneurship; peer influence (r =.110; p < 0.05; N= 352) has a significant positive relationship with entrepreneurial intention.Recommendations/Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of fostering positive peer networks to enhance entrepreneurial capacities among undergraduates and promote self-employment and innovation as viable career paths.Paper Type: Empirical
