ENTRELAÇANDO PALAVRAS E VIVÊNCIAS: UMA ANÁLISE DE VIA ÁPIA DE GEOVANI MARTINS

Literature is a very rich and lively object of study. Literature, the way of writing, and the storiesthat are told in this writing are the result of social changes that have gradually occurred within society. Thus, literature is gaining new nuances, new voices, new territories, and new experiences to share and to expandperspectives and voices that have been marginalized and silenced by society. This study uses a qualitativemethodology supported by bibliographic and descriptive research to analyze the work Via Ápia (2022), by thewriter Geovani Martins, in order to explore it from the perspective of Conceição Evaristo's writing. And the specific objectives are: a) To situateGeovani Martins' work within the perspective of writing, taking into account the racialized and marginalizedthread of the writer and the narrative. b) To investigate how the book portrays the daily lives of residents ofthe marginalized community, addressing the social, political and economic issues addressed in the work, as wellas the representation of the cultural identities and life experiences of these communities.
