USE OF PLANT EXTRACTS AS ECO-FRIENDLY METAL CORROSION INHIBITORS IN OIL AND GAS FIELDS (REVIEW)
This study describes the latest publications on the use of plant extracts, which are environmentally safe, as effective inhibitors of metal corrosion in oil and gas fields, where carbon dioxide corrosion is manifested. According to the materials of the reviewed publications, it can be concluded that the use of plant extracts as corrosion inhibitors to reduce corrosion damage in oil and gas fields is a convenient, effective and inexpensive measure against corrosion. The effect of inhibiting corrosion of steels in a CO2-saturated environment reaches 99%.
