Reproducing Peter Plichta's Speed-of-Light Derivation from the Prime Number Cross

Inspired by Peter Plichta’s original ideas in Das Primzahlkreuz: Band 1 and modeled by the Universal Model Framework (UMF), we present a numerical derivation of the speed of lightc ≈ 3.00×10 8 m/s based on a prime-lattice construct called the Prime Number Cross. Primes lying on6n ± 1 rays generate a quadratic shell geometry, whose shell counts and fl uxes approach inverse-square-law behavior analogous to the spread of a physical fi eld. By introducing Planck length ℓ P and Planck time t P into this prime-lattice, we numerically reproduce c ≈ ℓ P /t P , consistent with the measured value of 2.998 × 10 8 m/s. We further examine ±10% deviations in lattice spacing, demonstrating how this prime-based approach remains robust under modest scaling. The results underscore the intriguing ties between number theory, fractal geometry, and fundamental physical constants. This project was developed by Marco Gericke, with structured assistance from a large language model. All scientific concepts and conclusions were generated, verified, and interpreted by the author. Dedicated to Peter Plichta, who envisioned the code before it could be computed.
