Ліричний герой поетичних творів Тараса Шевченка в сучасному дискурсі «етики піклування» та поза ним

In the current conditions of the aggressive war on the part of russia, the problem of national Ukrainian identity has acquired special importance, the issues of joint responsibility for the fate of the Ukrainian state and the readiness to defend its freedom, independence, territorial value, in particular the right of Ukrainians to be, have become acutely relevant. The unity of the Ukrainian people around the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its opposition to the aggressive policy of russia have outlined the path to “ethics amid violence” (Bell, 1993, p. 23). But we do not have the right to remain only in our own national shell. Our traumatic experience should become a call to the world to protect and multiply the genetic codes of national identity. In the Ukrainian cultural environment, the impetus for the development and preservation of Ukrainian national identity has always been, is, and will be the work of the brilliant luminary, the builder of the Ukrainian nation Taras Shevchenko, who is the voice of the Ukrainian people beyond time and space. Awareness of history and the preservation of cultural national identity in the modern globalized world, where the risk of its loss is increasing, is one of the means of survival of the nation. Taras Shevchenko’s words: Learn, read, and learn from others, and do not shun your own are gaining extraordinary relevance today, becoming a powerful intellectual weapon, perhaps even stronger than guns. Words of truth contribute to the formation of respect for one’s own roots and the awareness of the need for dialogue between the cultures of different peoples.
