The article analyzes the life path and church education activities of the Daughters of the St. Prince Yaroslav the Wise, who became European Queens. The author notes that in the harsh eleventh century, all of them actively contributed to the Christian enlightenment of the countries where they reigned. A common point (with the possible exception of France) was that the Germanic and Celtic peoples at that time were “baptized, but not educated”, there were strong remnants of paganism, and evangelical and catechetical activities became extremely relevant.
