A Review on Aggression, Self Esteem and Emotional Intelligence in Relation to personality Traits of Combative Sports Persons
Abstract:- Games and sports have grown in importance as a means of fostering close communal ties. In sports and other complicated activities, it is a simple approach to foster human connections, but it has caused tension in people's muscles and minds. We have observed a significant and widespread transformation in sports. Nowadays, it is challenging for a player to understand how to develop his physical capabilities in order to perform better in professional sports. According to reports, psychological conditioning programs and old-fashioned skill training will be crucial in high-level tournaments that decide a player's performance. Nowadays, sports psychology has become a discipline with a history of research that lays the groundwork for working directly with players. On the pitch, mental variables frequently play an equal role in success or failure as physical ones. With a greater understanding of the role psychological factors play in athletes' performance, overall health, and social elements of participating in sports, interventions have been developed to effectively influence athletes' behaviour both during and after their participation in sports. While each psychological factor has a distinct impact on athletes' performance, some factors are more appropriate for particular sports and games than others. Among the elements that can be taken into account to identify psychological predictors are psychological parameters including aggression, self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and personality traits. There is no difference between Judo and the male and female aggression scale, the self-esteem scale, and the sports emotional intelligence test scale. The sports emotional intelligence test, the self-esteem scale, and the male and female aggression scale do not distinguish between wrestling athletes. There is no difference between Judo and wrestling players' personal attributes on the sociability, dominance, extroversion, self-concept, mental toughness, and emotionally stability scales.
