An efficient Synthesis of 2-phenylbenzo[d]thiazole analogous as robust biological agents
This paper is focused on the An efficient Synthesis of 2-phenylbenzo[d]thiazoleanalogous as robust biological agents. The synthesis of titled compounds was obtained by thereaction of substituted aromatic primary amine, substituted aromatic aldehyde in the presence ofan efficient oxidative catalyst reagent KIO4 catalyst in aqueous alcohol at RT. All synthesizedcompounds were characterized using spectroscopic technique such as 1HNMR, 13CNMR, andLCMS spectroscopy as well as microanalyses data. This environmentally benign and practicalmethod offers many advantages, such as mild reaction conditions, high yields and use ofavailable catalyst, mild reaction conditions and easy workup. The antibacterial activities of thetitled compounds were also evaluated using bacterial strain Staphylococcus Aureus, Bacillussubtilis, Escherichia coli (mm), Pseudomonasaureoginosa and also fungal strains are AspergillusNiger, Candida Albicans and Aspergillus Niger favus.
