P3-D2.1.1 State of the art review and initial design of 6GSMART zero touch automation and service assurance mechanisms .i2CAT
This document corresponds to deliverable “D2.1.1 - State of the art review and initial design of 6GSMART zero touch automation and service assurance mechanisms” of the subproject 6GSMART-EZ, “6G for Smart Cyber Physical Production Systems of Systems – extreme KPIs and Zero Touch Automation“, which is devoted to the research on Extreme KPIs and Zero Touch Automation. Particularly, this document presents the contributions from i2CAT to the task devoted to the study and design of solutions aiming at enhancing zero-touch automation of 5G networks in Industry 5.0.The deliverable introduces three main contributions related to zero-touch RAN automation: (i) RAN service provisioning, (ii) RAN configuration and (iii) RAN diagnostics. For each solution, relevant state of the art and initial design is provided, describing the main envisioned steps towards its implementation and evaluation. All three solutions follow a practical approach, targeting easy integration with non-public networks in industrial environments.
