LINGUISTIC AND PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES (BRANCH SERIAL № 5)
This study examines how linguistic theories can be effectively integrated into pedagogical strategies to enhance language teaching. While linguistic and teaching practices are often studied separately, this research bridges the gap using a mixed-method approach involving classroom observations, teacher interviews, and student assessments. Findings show that combining task-based and communicative methods with metalinguistic awareness and explicit grammar instruction improves learner outcomes. Sociolinguistic factors, such as learners’ language backgrounds and exposure to authentic discourse, also influence effectiveness. The study calls for balanced pedagogical models that promote both linguistic accuracy and communicative competence, with implications for curriculum design, teacher training, and policy.
