ACMD – Archivum Codicum Manuscriptorum Disiectorum (2000–2025). Description and Sample Record
This document presents the official description of the ACMD (Archivum Codicum Manuscriptorum Disiectorum), a protected codicological database created by Prof. Carla Rossi between 2000 and 2025. The ACMD documents over 500 cases of dismembered illuminated manuscripts (12th–16th c.) with provenance, auction records, palaeographic data and digitised evidence of biblioclast activity. The file includes a full methodological statement and a sample case study (Madruzzo Book of Hours), with metadata and auction screenshots. The database is hosted and protected by the Organisation pour la Protection des manuscrits Médiévaux (OProM). Public access to selected records: https://www.oprom.eu/acmd
